Normandale’s Community Health Worker is a 16 credit, two semester certificate program that is offered every fall semester with 8 credits being taken in the fall semester and 8 credits in the spring. After the trainig participants will learn; cultural competence; how to Improve access to health care for racial and ethnic minorities; how to Improve the quality of care for chronically ill people; how to Promote healthy communities; Educate clients and others about access to and use of healthcare resources.
