The goal of PROSPER is to use a strength-based, culturally relevant frame of reference to address health inequities in the African American community. With holistic and cultural approaches to wellness, the curriculum addresses multiple social determinants of health that contribute to chronic diseases within the African American community. Participants will come away with plans to actively improve their own health, as well as the health of their families and communities. 28 hour workshop.
